Exhibitors with personal vehicles may park at the San Diego Convention Center Parking Garage. The garage is located under the convention center. You may enter the garage on Harbor Drive. There are no in-and-out privileges. Overnight and RV parking are not permitted. It is $15-$20 per day (see day specific rates).

POV & CART SERVICE 

Will you be bringing your booth materials in a POV (Privately Owned Vehicle)? Freeman will provide Cart Service for those with POVs. What is considered a POV? Any cars, pick-ups, vans, trucks primarily designed for passenger use, not cargo or freight. Some service highlights can be found below. Cart Service Includes: 

  • Freeman workers with flat cart scooters will assist with unloading.
  • Each cart can handle a load of 3’ Wide x 4’ Long x 3’ High.
  • Each load must not exceed 300 lbs.
  • Storage of empty cardboard/product boxes (no additional charge) 

Rates: $184.25 per round trip (from dock to booth and booth to dock)

  • Thursday, 13 April            3:00 PM – 10:00 PM 

Note:  
Any vehicles that do not qualify for this service or require mechanical assistance to unload will be directed to the Freeman Marshalling Yard.

 

Below is a brief list of a few of the show rules and regulations for exhibitor booths, click here for full rules.

  • Hanging Signs are permitted in Island booths only, the top of the sign should be no higher than 20’. No balloons or blimps may be suspended or tethered. Island booths may hang truss for lighting purposes. 
  • All floor space in your booth must be carpeted. Show Management will authorize the official contractor to carpet, at the exhibitor's expense, any booth space not covered by 4:00 PM, Tuesday, 11 April. Rental carpet is available through Freeman
  • Exhibit displays must not exceed the following height restrictions 
    • Linear booths are not permitted to be over 8’ tall in the back half of their booth
    • Linear booths are not permitted to be over 4’ tall in the front half of their booth, allowing for line of sight to neighboring exhibitors. 
    • Island booths are not permitted to be over 20’ tall and if over 30’ wide must allow for 10’ openings for every 20’ of display structure. If you plan on constructing a double-deck booth or an enclosed meeting space within your booth space.

Schedule Reminders: 

  • 3:00 PM - Thurs., 13 April Move-out will begin when the Show Floor closes. 
  • 10:00 AM - Fri., 14 April All exhibitor material MUST BE REMOVED from the facility. 
  • 8:00 AM - Fri., 14 April Carriers should check in no later than. 

To facilitate an orderly and timely move out: 

  • All aisles remain clear of exhibit material so that empty containers can be returned. 
  • All freight-free aisles must be kept clear during move-out. 

Freeman:

  • Will remove the aisle carpet first and then freight doors will then open for empty containers to be returned. 
  • Will begin returning cartons, plastic cases, wood crates and other material sent to empty storage at 4:00 PM or as soon as the aisle carpet has been removed.  
  • Anticipates having all empties returned by 8:00 PM Thursday. 

All exhibit material leaving the show floor (from the docks) will require a Material Handling Agreement

  • This can be prepared for you at the Service Desk (back of the Exhibit Hall). 
  • Do not leave your Material Handling Agreement with your equipment at your booth. If you leave the Material Handling Agreement in your booth with your freight, we will not know that your freight is ready to be loaded out. 
  • Return the ‘completed’ Agreement to the Service Desk once materials are packed and ready to be shipped, no later than 10:00 AM on Friday, 14 April.
  • SAVE TIME & A TRIP TO THE SERVICE DESK

Any exhibitors requiring forklifts, display labor, boom lifts or other special handling equipment should contact Freeman prior to the close of the show.

Do not leave any personal items in your booth including laptops, electronic equipment, or valuables. Exhibitors are responsible for all contents within their booth.
 
Not using Freeman Exhibit Transportation: 
  • You must contact and confirm the pickup times with your carriers. 
  • All material must be packed and ready for outbound loading and all drivers must be checked in at the marshalling yard by 8:00 AM, Friday, 14 April. 
  • Using a POV. Move-out is Thursday, 13 April 3:00 PM – 10:00 PM. See details above under POV Access.
