And the industry’s track record as the biggest, fastest and cheapest path to a more sustainable electricity sector is attracting the world’s most iconic brands. Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Wal-Mart, General Motors, IKEA, Yahoo! to just name a few, all invest in wind. These and other corporate buyers accounted for more than 50% of all wind deployed in 2016.
The industry's progress will be on full display at WINDPOWER 2017 in Anaheim, California. We will unveil new enhancements to the show and feature a new focus on the brands investing in wind. We saw 13% growth in 2016 and look forward to continuing that trend in Anaheim.
