Silver Needle Is setting new standards of protection against gas explosions and flash fires incidents. NFPA allows a 50% predicted 3rd degree burn after a 3 second exposure. Our suit has been designed and tested for a 10 second exposure with 0% predicted 3rd degree burn. The Flash Suit is NFPA 2112-2018 Certified through Underwriters Laboratories and Safety Equipment Institute. Our system is also NFPA 70E cat 4 compliant for Arc flash protection.
