Buxus™
Buxus™ is a tool intended for use by emergency officials to prepare for, and respond to, a potential pipeline release by providing critical information from pipeline operators. Information is specific to each operator and includes emergency contact information, products transported, hazard identification, and response guidance. Responders can also request specific information from operators in their communities and provide or report other information critical to operators. To access features intended for use by emergency personnel, users must either be invited to register by an authorized user, or be confirmed after asking specific questions on their status as an emergency official.
Buxus™ allows users to:
- Improve two-way communication with responders
- Provide resources and critical information on demand
- Meet evolving regulatory requirements
- Reduce costs and improve effectiveness and efficiency
- Map pipeline systems in place, or relative to a specific adress, or a user's location
- Deploy SDS, ERPs, and other refernce and resource documents
- Limit access to sensitive operational information to only emergency responders
