Beacon is an Austin-based technology company whose mission is to simplify the RFP broadcast process and communication between agencies and suppliers to remove the barriers small businesses face when seeking to do public sector work. We've made the process simple and painless for agencies and bidders, to build RFPs quickly, track planholders, and even optionally receive electronic submissions from bidders. Beacon is designed to improve compliance and increase planholder participation by solving the most common frustrations among companies seeking public work.
Agencies can take advantage of Broadcaster to publish and distribute solicitations and Tracker to communicate with planholders. Both are free to all agencies. We also offer the following premium modules: RFP Archive for access to the largest searchable database of RFP specifications which makes writing RFP requirements easier and more accurate. E-Bid allows agencies to receive sealed bids in an intuitive, secure submission process.
