The UCrypt IP to Analog product offering can ingest programs in IP format and retransmit them in analog format. AES decrypt functionality is provided. It is ideal for converting content into analog format to service bulk MDU, hospitality or commercial accounts where legacy TVs are deployed. It allows for delivery of up to 60 individually analog channels in the 54-860 MHz frequency range. It supports ingestion of up to 60 MPEG-2 or H.264, HD or SD, IP multicast video streams. Multiple units can be deployed simultaneously to build larger analog lineups. It features constant program monitoring and supports SNMP-based alerts and alarms. The easy to use HTTPS-based management interface allows operators to configure, manage and monitor the unit remotely.
The UCrypt IP to QAM product offering allows MSOs to ingest content from their IP video network, re-multiplex & encrypt it with Pro:Idiom or leave it in-the-clear for transmission via QAM 64 or 256. AES decrypt functionality is provided. It gives MSOs the ability to deliver digital content in a protected format into hospitality locations where set-top box deployment is not practical or desired. It is ideal for applications where the end customer is connected directly via fiber or dedicated node to the headend or hub. UCrypt has an easy to use management interface which allows users to select programs to be encrypted with Pro:Idiom and assign them to output QAMs at any frequency. The HTTP-based management interface allows users to configure or monitor the product from a remote location.
