  • Video Gateways
ATX’s UCrypt gateways allow MSOs and service providers to decrypt, encrypt and transition video between formats to facilitate the delivery of bulk video service to MDU, hospitality or commercial accounts....

  • The UCrypt QAM to IP product offering allows MSOs to decrypt select programs from their digital tier, and re-transmit them via multicast IP (unencrypted, or with Pro:Idiom, Verimatrix or AES128 encryption support). The 60 program decrypt capacity is ideal for hospitality or commercial account applications running IP-based video networks and systems that require a larger channel lineup. The UCrypt v2 features a true ‘plug-and-play’ modular design for simple, field-based capacity expansion allowing for future growth in service offering. The HTTP-based management interface allows users to configure or monitor the product from a remote location.

The UCrypt QAM to QAM product offering allows MSOs to decrypt select programs from their digital tier, re-encrypt them with Pro:Idiom or leave them in-the-clear and re-transmit them via QAM. The expanded 60 program decrypt and 32 output QAM capacity is ideal for hospitality applications requiring an expanded digital lineup. The UCrypt v2 features a true ‘plug-and-play’ modular design for simple, field-based capacity expansion allowing for future growth in service offering. The HTTP-based management interface allows users to configure or monitor the product from a remote location.

The UCrypt QAM to Analog product offering allows MSOs to decrypt select programs from their digital tier and retransmit them in NTSC or PAL analog formats. It is ideal for converting content into analog format to service bulk MDU, hospitality or commercial accounts where legacy TVs are deployed. It is also field-upgradeable to digital QAM output in the future should the property want to upgrade to digital service. This UCrypt unit allows for delivery of up to 60 individually agile analog channels and supports ingestion of up to 60 MPEG-2 or H.264, HD or SD streams.

  • Video Headends
ATX’s UCrypt gateways decrypt, encrypt & transition video between formats to deliver bulk video service. The PD1600 mini headend from Pico Digital can interface with any operator/public network to ingest, decrypt, transcode & re-transmit video content....

  • The UCrypt IP to Analog product offering can ingest programs in IP format and retransmit them in analog format. AES decrypt functionality is provided. It is ideal for converting content into analog format to service bulk MDU, hospitality or commercial accounts where legacy TVs are deployed. It allows for delivery of up to 60 individually analog channels in the 54-860 MHz frequency range.  It supports ingestion of up to 60 MPEG-2 or H.264, HD or SD, IP multicast video streams. Multiple units can be deployed simultaneously to build larger analog lineups. It features constant program monitoring and supports SNMP-based alerts and alarms. The easy to use HTTPS-based management interface allows operators to configure, manage and monitor the unit remotely.

The UCrypt IP to QAM product offering allows MSOs to ingest content from their IP video network, re-multiplex & encrypt it with Pro:Idiom or leave it in-the-clear for transmission via QAM 64 or 256. AES decrypt functionality is provided. It gives MSOs the ability to deliver digital content in a protected format into hospitality locations where set-top box deployment is not practical or desired. It is ideal for applications where the end customer is connected directly via fiber or dedicated node to the headend or hub. UCrypt has an easy to use management interface which allows users to select programs to be encrypted with Pro:Idiom and assign them to output QAMs at any frequency. The HTTP-based management interface allows users to configure or monitor the product from a remote location.

The PD1600 device is capable of interfacing with any type of operator or public network (DVB-C, DVB-S/S2, ATSC or DVB-T/T2) in order to ingest, decrypt, transcode (optional) and re-transmit video content via IP, QAM, DVB-T, ISDB-T, NTSC or MPEG-DASH/HLS. The PD1600 device is ultra-secure in terms of content protection, and delivers a mini headend solution with an unprecedented capacity/price point ratio.

  • Transcoding
ATX offers professional quality, VersAtivePro transcoders....

  • ATX has designed a totally different approach to transcoding systems. The VersAtivePro was designed to be the most budget-friendly solution in the professional quality transcoder market. It offers high quality video at minimal bit rates and features a license-free, hassle-free scheme unique to the industry giving customers the freedom to transcode what they want, when and how they want. This line now offers an enhanced capacity.

  • Mini CMTS
The miniCMTS200a from Pico Digital (an ATX company) is a cost-effective solution for smaller operators. It supports up to 400 DOCSIS cable modems and is ideal for commercial and residential properties, academic and medical facilities, and more....

  • An alternative to larger, more expensive cable modem termination systems (CMTS) and second-hand units with low bandwidth, Pico Digital's miniCMTS is designed to provide smaller cable operators with the capabilities they need at an exceptional value. The low-cost unit supports up to 400 cable modems depending on the usage model and cable modem type (maximum of 250 DOCSIS 3.0 + 150 DOCSIS 2.0 or 400 DOCSIS 2.0). We recommend a maximum of 400 modems for hospitality applications and a maximum of approximately 200 modems for residential applications or anywhere that a higher usage model applies.

The miniCMTS offers 16 downstream bonded channels for up to 800-Mbps downstream /120-Mbps upstream data delivery. In a residential setting with 200 modems, this data rate provides for a 4-Mbps uncontended internet connection per subscriber.
  • Encoding
The miniCMTS200a from Pico Digital (an ATX company) is a cost-effective solution for smaller operators. It supports up to 400 DOCSIS cable modems and is ideal for commercial and residential properties, academic and medical facilities, and more....

  • The professional-grade PD1000 HD encoder modulation system allows users to encode HD, SD, and HD-SDI signals in MPEG-2 or H.264 formats, all in a single rack space. The unit supports real-time encoding, while offering the flexibility of two, four, six, or eight HDMI (in the clear), HD-SDI, component, and composite (closed captioning) inputs. The HD encoder offers simultaneous QAM and IP outputs. The PD1000 enables remote control and monitoring via an intuitive Web interface, provides virtual channel mapping, and supports Dolby Digital audio encoding. The HD encoder is ideal for commercial residential properties, academic and medical facilities, local area network applications for both CATV and broadcast, as well as the hospitality industry.
