2018 IEEE PES T&D Conference & Exposition space selection began in October 2016 for returning exhibitors.

Exhibitor space selection will begin March 14, 2017 for new companies. If you didn’t exhibit in 2016 and would like to receive 2018 registration information, be sure to send your full company contact information below to Shawn Boon at the email address noted below.

We are very excited to announce that space selection for the 2018 IEEE PES T&D Conference & Exposition is going very well. Thank you to all of the companies and attendees that made the 2016 Exposition the largest T&D show ever, and we look forward to seeing even more companies & attendees in Denver in 2018. Booth space for the 2018 IEEE PES T&D show occurs over four separate rounds. The first three rounds are open only to companies that exhibited in the 2016 event. Once priority space selection is complete we will open sales to all companies in the T&D industry on March 14, 2017.

What’s New in 2018!

The union rules are very strict at the Denver Convention Center. For example, exhibitors may only set-up their own booth IF it can be done in less than 60 minutes without the use of mechanized tools. Review the full union rules at www.ieeet-d.org/unionrules.pdf.

Please note the largest dock door is 22′ wide x 20′ high. Please take this into account when planning the equipment for your booth, and don’t forget to add the trailer height to the equipment height if you are bringing the trailer onto the exhibit floor. Equipment can also be off-loaded outside and brought to your booth via crane or forklift if possible, but this could add time and expense.

We will offer a new educational track open for presentations from exhibiting companies only! Exhibitors may apply to present in one of the limited session opportunities. Applications will be accepted in the summer of 2017 and will be due by December 2017.

Important 2018 Information

Space is assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis within the qualifying booth sizes. You must have your company’s password in order to select space. The password will be sent to the booth sales & logistics contacts on file at the end of October with a reminder email the day before each round of space selection.

The interactive version of the floorplan is available now. The floorplan is updated as booths are assigned. In previous years the majority of space applications are received within the first 5 minutes after space selection opens. Be sure to act quickly, for the best opportunity to reserve the booth of your choice.

Application Process
Click here and login with your company password (sent via email to contact on file). Please contact shawn@cemllc.com to request your company password. – Login will not be active until 12 pm ET on the date applicable for your booth size space selection. Once logged in you can reserve your booth in 7 easy steps:

  • Verify your company information.
  • Verify or update contact information.
  • Select your desired booth
  • Add enhanced listing option if desired
  • Digitally sign the contract
  • Accept the terms & conditions
  • Submit (please note the booth you select is not reserved until after you submit (and you see the confirmation page).


  • $31 per SF (each 10×10 booth will cost $3,100) for booth space
  • To assist you in budgeting for the show a list of common exhibitor costs is available.
  • Contract and deposit are due within 30 days of the receipt of your space application. Failure to comply could result in the release of your booth space.

    • 8′ high pipe and drape back wall
    • 3′ high pipe and drape side rails
    • 7” x 44” booth identification sign (company name and booth number.)

    Split-Island Booths

    • 8′ high pipe and drape back wall
    • 7” x 44” booth identification sign (company name and booth number.)
  • Management provides aisle carpeting (booth carpet/floor covering is required for all exhibits and must be provided at the exhibitor’s expense).
  • General exhibit hall lighting, air-conditioning or heating (during show days only).
  • Onsite Exhibit Management Office & Floor Managers to provide assistance during set-up, show days and dismantle starting Thursday, April 12.
  • Opportunity to present a session in the Product & Solution Showcase, order form available in summer 2017.


  • There will be three primary 20’ aisles throughout the exhibit halls with food buffets for the lunch and reception events.
  • There are columns throughout the exhibit halls and they are indicated on the floorplan diagram.
  • Ceiling height in exhibit hall ranges from 30’.
