We have humble beginnings. Kelly Perkins, our founder, began experimenting with soap making in her basement in 1993. Through trial and error she developed the recipes for each product herself and began giving them away as gifts to friends and family. Her love for making the highest quality products from ingredients with impeccable sourcing continued to grow and she soon realized that the products she was making were higher quality than nearly anything else on the market that she could buy. Fast forward to 2012 when Kelly decided to go "all-in" on Spinster Sisters and opened her first store front in Golden, CO with an attached production space. The Spinster Sisters brand quickly grew to service over 2,000 boutique shops across the country. Our growth has been exciting, but we always refer back to our mission of doing better for people and the planet first. We seek out growth opportunities with retail partners that share those core values.
