We know it’s going to need a new perspective to radically re-think how things are currently done. The focus here at The Supplant Company is on unlocking the huge potential of plant fiber, the most abundant and underused resource that’s made on farms.
By taking fiber from cobs, husks and stalks and making it taste good we’re building a food system that’s better for all, including the planet.
Our products feature sugars from fiber, a planet- and human-friendly new food category. Sugars from fiber are made using parts of crops that don’t make their way into the food system (such as upcycled straw, stems, and cobs). Because it’s ‘from fiber’ it has less than half the calories of cane sugar, has a lower glycemic response compared to glucose and is prebiotic, meaning it feeds the gut’s good bacteria!
