Get closer to Japanese R&D program for Automated Driving !
In Japan, the Council for Science, Technology and Innovation (CSTI) of the Cabinet Office established the Cross-ministerial Strategic Innovation Promotion Program (SIP) in 2014, and it has been going ahead with energetic R&D projects for two years, aiming at Innovation of Automated Driving for Universal Services (SIP-adus). Its Promoting Committee decided to conduct Field Operational Tests from 2017 and just set about investigation and arrangements for the development of test design. We very much welcome wider participation in our FOTs and enhanced interaction with experts all over the world. For more information, go to www.sip-adus.jp
