DCI offers free chronic kidney disease education classes, helping individuals understand their risk for kidney disease, find ways to prolong kidney function and learn more about preemptive transplants in order to avoid dialysis altogether. DCI has contributed over $200 million dollars toward research and education initiatives. More than 19,000 patients across 28 states receive high quality care from DCI. For 14 years in a row an independent government report, the USRDS, has recognized DCI for lower hospitalization and mortality ratios versus other large dialysis providers.
