Whether you call them cattails, reeds, or bullrushes, these sleek chimes are instantly recognizable as the slender marsh plant with tall stems and dark brown velvety heads.

Stainless-steel ‘stems’ support the three or six light bronze cylindrical anodized aluminum chimes, which produce tranquil and harmonic sounds when struck with small soft green mallets.

Perfect for playful interactions along nature trails, in parks, or in woodlands, citizens can stop and enjoy a moment of musical mindfulness while exploring the great outdoors.

Cattail Chimes are sent with two different end caps for you to choose from. Closed-end caps for a flush finish (as shown in the images of the set of three chimes) and pointed end caps to replicate the staminate of the cattail (as shown in the image of the set of six chimes). Both will prevent debris from entering the chime and affecting the sound produced.

Each ‘Petal Drum’ contains a small 6-note Babel Drum (steel tongue drums) encased with appropriately shaped aluminum ‘petals,’ securely mounted to a stainless-steel frame. The Drum is precision-tuned and fabricated with a particular scale, and the whole instrument is given a highly durable and water-proof powder-coated finish.

The Daisy Petal Drum tuning is A-Minor (A-C-D-E-G-A) and sports a classic yellow center in the form of a babel drum, surrounded by white aluminum petals.

This Marimba experience allows musicians and non-musicians to perform creative music in interesting outdoor settings.

The Tutti has three sets of notes, one in aluminum, one in GRP, and the final set in Paduak (hardwood) each offering different sustain and tonal properties. The single stainless steel post makes installation easy and quicker than installing three separate instruments, plus it is also convenient if you’re short on space.

Papilio Bells is tuned in the Key of C-Major, the pentatonic nature of the instrument means there are no wrong notes, and any combination of sounds is pleasant.

The tonal range is from Middle C to C7, spanning 3 octaves. The Papilio Bells can easily be played by four players, spanning over 2.4m or 8ft.

Available to install in or on the ground or wall-mounted, the Rainbow Trio Ensemble is perfect for toddlers and younger children to discover music and express themselves with rhythm, melody, and tone.

Occupying less space than the full-size instruments, this bright and inviting ensemble requires less budget, too – making them appealing for smaller establishments such as nursery schools, pre-schools, and kindergartens. You can even bring the outdoors in by installing the instruments on a wall indoors.

Exposing young children to musical instruments can help develop hand-eye coordination, improve listening skills, and increase gross and fine motor skills while developing muscle tone in the hands and arms. Young children have the instinct to create their melodies and explore their imaginations by hearing and making music first, then reading and writing it later; in the same way, they learn language skills.
