Welcome to APD from the Penn State Ag Safety & Health Team!

PSU Ag Safety will highlight the hazards of all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) & ways to minimize the risk of a rollover. Demonstrations will be 10 a.m. and noon on Tuesday and Thursday will show the hazards & promote protective safety gear for ATV riders. On Wednesday, specialists will simulate a power take off entanglement emergency demo at 11 a.m. & 1 p.m. to see first responders' approach to managing farm-related incidents. PSU faculty from Dept. of Ag & Bio Engineering will demonstrate the safe use of unmanned aerial vehicles, commonly called drones at 11 a.m. & 2 p.m. on Tuesday & Thursday.

Brands: The primary goal of Penn State Ag Safety & Health is to reduce ag-related injuries, illnesses, & fatalities while promoting safety & health practice for those involved in agriculture.
