The Wisconsin 529 College Savings Program and the College Affordability Program work to prepare Wisconsin families for the cost of higher education by helping them to develop a well-rounded paying-for-school strategy. This includes encouraging families to begin saving for a child’s post-secondary education as early as possible with one of Wisconsin’s 529 college savings plans, Edvest 529 and/or Tomorrow’s Scholar, and connecting students, parents, and educators to resources that can assist in planning for post-secondary education and address student loan debt.
