CAI helps health care and social service organizations improve the quality of their services, particularly for communities that have been marginalized. We do this by providing training, technical assistance, curriculum development, research, and other capacity-building support to agencies. CAI is unique because it is a mission-driven nonprofit organization that brings both a deep understanding of the toughest issues that communities face and expertise in evidence-based strategies for helping workforces improve health care and social services. For more than 40 years, we’ve helped thousands of nonprofit agencies, health departments, hospitals, and others improve the health and well-being of under-served communities.
