• Henderson Products BCS Body Conversion Spreader (Mar 21, 2023)

  Turns any dump body into a spreader! The BCS conveyor can be used by itself through a standard 24" coal chute tailgate opening, or with its optional wedge tank kit assembly for anti-icing and prewet capability. The BCS Body Conversion Spreader conveyor is available in 10’ to 15’ lengths in 1’ increments. This conveyor can be used alone or with our BCS Wedge Tank Kit to add anti-icing and prewet capability. The complete kit includes the BCS dual auger conveyor, frame, wedge tanks, all plumbing with a spray bar for 1 to 3 lanes, end gate structure and spinner. 10’ to 12.5’ bodies have 520 gallons of liquid capacity, while the 13’ to 15’ bodies have 900 gallons of liquid capacity. This system fits in virtually any dump body to provide an economical snow and ice control package for smaller communities or as an entry-level system.

  The Henderson StormXtreme offers the maximum liquid capacity in a combination spreader from 10’ to 16’ lengths. With an 82” width that fits in virtually any dump body, the StormXtreme is built to handle any winter storm, large or small. The multi-tank design provides natural baffling and fills evenly. With a choice of conveyors, a 1-, 2-, or 3-lane spray bar, and an optional rear cabinet available (see front image) for housing hydraulics, an anti-ice flow meter, and an optional hydraulic valve, the StormXtreme can be configured to meet any budget. A choice of conveyors and an optional rear enclosure make this machine adaptable to any municipal requirement. Standard adjustable trunnion latches, extended grease tubes, spinner bypass chute, replaceable spray nozzles, integral guide wheels, and stainless steel stand with folding legs contribute to easier storage and maintenance. Optional equipment includes the rear cabinet enclosure, a ladder on non-enclosure models, a slurry kit, a hydraulic valve, and top grate screens in mild or stainless steel. The standard spinner chute can be upgraded to our Direct Cast high-control spread pattern spinner. Take on any winter storm with StormXtreme!

  The Mark-E classic dump bodies and Mark-18 tub-style dump bodies have been re-engineered using best-in-class geometric tolerancing techniques for improved manufacturing processes. Henderson Products now offers all the same Henderson durability while improving our fit and finish to the point that we will guarantee tailgate interchangeability! The investment in weld fixtures creates a repeatable dump body ensuring our industry-leading build times. Standardized headsheets, streamlined material choices, and newly unitized rear bolsters create a body that is remarkably square. Wear and tear through normal use is reduced on body components aiding in body longevity. Henderson still offers the industry's most configurable dump bodies options to meet any need.
