Hamamatsu Corporation is the North American subsidiary of Hamamatsu Photonics K.K. (Japan). We offer ion detectors (microchannel plate assemblies and electron multiplier tubes) for mass spectrometry such as TOF-MS, MALDI-TOF-MS, Q-MS, LC/GC-MS, ICP-MS, and sector MS. Our microchannel plate (MCP) assemblies deliver accurate time-of-flight (TOF) measurements thanks to their fast time response and small time jitter. Our electron multiplier tubes (EMT) are suited for quadrupole and magnetic sector mass analyzers, and they feature wide dynamic range, robust structure, and high gain. We also offer deuterium lamps as UV light sources for soft ionization methods under vacuum or atmospheric pressure. In addition to those products, we manufacture photomultiplier tubes, photodiodes, image sensors, cameras, light sources, and specialized systems for select applications.
