Industry Therapeutic Updates
Industry Therapeutic Updates (ITUs) are available exclusively to Industry Roundtable members as a venue to present current pipeline activity, promote therapies, and provide an enhanced way to reach Fall Conference attendees. ITUs are industry events (and will be advertised as such) and an opportunity for pharmaceutical companies, device companies, or other appropriately related organizations to share information about their current therapies and projects with Fall Conference attendees, in accordance with the standards set for the industry by the Food and Drug Administration. No CME will be given by any accredited organizations for the programs offered.
Virtual Industry Therapeutic Updates will also be hosted on our conference platform. Sponsor provided pre-recorded content highlighted on the event platform schedule.
Eligibility
· Participating company must be a 2020 dues-paid member of the American Academy of Neurology Industry Roundtable.
· Participating company must be an exhibitor at the Fall Conference.
· Limit one per organization through August 20.
o If availability exists after August 20th, IRT members will be allowed to purchase additional ITUs.
File Format
· Video must be pre-recorded and can be no longer than 30 minutes.
o Should the conference platform allow, organizations will be allowed to have Q&A at the end of the session but should build that into their 30-minute maximum schedule.
· The file format is mp4 and no larger than 500 mb.
· Content due to the AAN by October 23.
Inclusive of:
· Content hosted on virtual platform for 30 days after conference.
· Metrics on attendance available
· Promotion in pre-conference and live conference schedules
· AAN created email to all conference attendees highlighting the Industry Therapeutic Update Companies and Topics/Titles
· One time use of AAN- attendee list for purpose of promoting ITU Program
o Content must be approved by AAN prior to dissemination
