GreenlightTM is a range of granulated soil conditioning and nutrition products for the turf and ornamental markets. You can create a consistently good playing surface on your golf course or sports field by managing your soils effectively and providing essential nutrition to the grass. Our products are tailored to each type of turfgrass, with different prill sizes for greens, fairways and high traffic areas such as sports fields or amenity grasses. Choose from calcium, sulfur or magnesium enriched products depending on your turf’s agronomic requirements.
Soil becomes more acidic over time as a result of nutrient uptake, leaching or the use of acid fertilizers. Effective soil conditioning with GreenLight will correct pH to the optimal level, which maximizes the availability of essential nutrients to the grass. Fertilizer use efficiency will also be improved; at optimal pH, 100% of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium will be available to the grass. Soil pH has an impact on micro-organisms, which work more efficiently to break down organic matter, improving soil structure and drainage.
Structural stability is an important aspect of soil health. The calcium in GreenLight improves soil flocculation, creating a structure that allows better circulation of air and water and easier root penetration. Bulk density is reduced, increasing porosity and therefore better aeration. Maintaining good soil structure is particularly helpful in high traffic areas, maintaining playability even under stress conditions.
Turfgrass requires a continual supply of the key nutrients, calcium, magnesium and sulfur. Calcium is important for cell structure and will help the grass resist disease and withstand stress conditions. Magnesium is a central component of the chlorophyll molecule and a good supply is important for carbohydrate transport to support root growth. Sulfur is required for essential plant compounds such as amino acids and chlorophyll. GreenLight is made in three grades: calcium, calcium plus sulfur, and calcium plus magnesium, to correct deficiencies following soil sampling.
GreenLight is available in three formulations to suit your agronomic requirements: GreenLight Ca, GreenLight Mg and GreenLight S. Each one is available in three sizes to suit the type of turf.

Our formulation includes a de-dusting agent which ensures clean application and no impact on the playing surface. It is easily applied with standard equipment, fitting into existing fertilizer programs. The consistent prill size ensures even application and the prills dissolve quickly to provide uniform dispersion of the product.
We recommend regular application of GreenLight at low rates for best results. Depending on geography, early fall and early spring timing is also beneficial. For application advice, contact us.
