The CLAC Apprenticeship Support Program (CASP) is now closed.

This initiative, supporting Canadian employers in hiring new first-year apprentices has come to an end and we would like to take this opportunity to thank all our agreement holders for investing in the next generation of the skilled trades.

If you already have a signed agreement and have hired and registered your apprentice before March 31^st, 2024 you may still be eligible for funding. Please contact your CASP contact for more information.

How did we do?
We have distributed $14 million (and we’re not quite done yet)2,350small-and-medium-sized employers signed up from across Canada!
1,717new first-year apprentices hired, registered and financially supported!
‍63% of new apprentices self-identify as belonging to an under-represented demographic!
