Mr. Richards began his career in Claims with the Insurance Company of North America/CIGNA 37 years ago. He held numerous position from a multi-line outside Claims Adjuster, supervisory/ management positions in Auto, Property, Liability, Subrogation, Workers Compensation, Regional and National positions in Workers’ Compensation and Assistant VP positions in Sales and Program Management. Steve’s leadership positions have been with a major Property & Casualty Carrier, Managing General Agent and a large investigative company managing programs for Fortune 500 companies and various Third Party Administrators. Richards’ current position, Claims and Litigation Director for Coca-Cola Co. Consolidated, is responsible for the design and implementation, and financial performance of CCBCCs’ Workers’ Compensation Program in 16 states with 15,500 employees, 14 production centers and 92 distribution centers. Steve has spoken before the Florida Workers’ Compensation Educational Conference in Orlando, Florida, The Charlotte Regional Safety and Health School, delivered training for Claim Adjuster CEUs and has participated on numerous panel discussions throughout the country. Richards serves the Charlotte, North Carolina Community through his participation as a Board of Directors member for The Childrens’ Home Society, the Charlotte CHS Advisory Board, mentor for a local elementary school, character presenter for Cross Country for Youth and has serve on the Mecklenburg County Bar Association Fee Arbitration Board.
Steve is a graduate of Southern Illinois holding a BS in Mathmatics.
