Back Road Farms prides itself in the use of Best Management Nursery Practices. Our tools include the use of irrigation, Integrated Pest Management, GPS’d( Global Positioning System) Soil Zone Management and VRT (Variable Rate Technology) utilizing variable rate applications with the latest application equipment.

Our soil zones are sampled 1-2 times per year and recommendations are followed precisely through prescription placement. Back Road Farms uses an independent agricultural consulting firm that has been in the business of providing these types of services for more than 20 years on these very same soils. Back Road Farms stays well connected with other successful nurserymen and Land Grant University specialist in Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia and Florida.

Back Road Farms plantings are GPS’d for accurate record keeping, plant locations, optimum in-row tree density and precise application of plant protection products. Pruning, selecting and culling are other tools used frequently.

Prices:
Prices and quantities are subject to change without notice. All prices are F.O.B. Lumber Bridge, NC. Prices do not include covers or tie down materials.

Terms:
Cash, unless an account has been previously approved. All accounts net due 30 days from shipment date. Past due accounts will be charged 1.5% per month. A 25% deposit is required on all orders tagged in the field. Orders are not dug until requested by customer. All sales are final upon digging. Terms and Conditions are subject to change without notice.

Claims:
Claims for shortages, errors, breakage, etc. must be made upon delivery. Such claims must be written on the delivery receipt. All other claims must be made within ten days of delivery.

Liability:
We guarantee our stock to be true to name and healthy when shipped. We take no responsibility for plants once they leave our nursery. No claims made more that ten days after delivery will be honored. Errors on our part will be corrected by replacement or refund of the purchase price of the item(s) in question. In no case will we accept liability for more than the purchase price of any of the plant material in question.
