Hello MANTS! Kankakee Nursery is a 2,500-acre grower of exceptional shade trees, ornamental trees and evergreens. We specialize in both balled-and-burlapped and container production, and are located 1 hour south of Chicago in Aroma Park, IL with shipping throughout the USA and into Canada. 2024 marks our 99th year in business, each one led by 4 generations of the Worth family. Over the last few years, we have been rapidly expanding our B&B and container tree and evergreen plantings in both quantity and species diversity. We especially want to highlight our increased production of NATIVES, both in the field and in our eco-friendly Root Pouches. The pouches are made from 100% recycled water bottles, and the soft fabric provides an outstanding environment to produce healthy, fibrous root systems on typically coarse-rooted tree varieties.
