A 0.18‐in. microLED color microdisplay module is composed of a microLED chip and a driver backplane. Adopting 15μm microLED fabrication technology, Sitan has successfully fabricated a microLED chip with a pixel size of 5μm. This is a breakthrough in the microLED chip process. Meanwhile, for the driving circuit design, due to the ultra‐small pixel size, Sitan redesigned CMOS‐based active driving circuits and finally realized a 3,500ppi display. Quantum‐dot color conversion is adopted to achieve a full‐color display.
