Water and wastewater operators are the backbone of our communities, ensuring clean water reaches every home and business and that sanitation is protecting the public and environment. We want to hear your stories – the moments you went above and beyond to fix a leak, restore service, or help a resident in need. Funny, exciting, intriguing, moving - discover your inner raconteur!
Share your anonymous story and inspire others! Our monthly email newsletter will showcase the winning story. The confidentiality of operator and community will be maintained.
Submit your story to: Operator Story (atap@ae.ca). Email subject line should read "Operator Story" and the email should include your name and contact phone number after the story so that you can be contacted if you have won. Please do not include names of people, dates, or locations in your story. Story deadline is the 15th of each month. (next deadline - extended - is June 15th). The winner will be contacted before the story is posted in our our monthly newsletter. Please tell your story in 250 words or less. If you are not currently receiving our monthly newsletter email and wish to be added to the contact list, please contact us at atap@ae.ca.
