More than 3,000 public school leaders, educators, exhibitors and advocates will gather in Milwaukee to network, learn, grow, and shape student achievement and public education throughout Wisconsin.

The event is co-sponsored by the Wisconsin Association of School Boards, the Wisconsin Association of School Business Officials and the Wisconsin Association of School District Administrators.

Key dates while preparing for the convention:

  • Nov. 2, 2026: Convention Registration Opens
  • Nov. 9, 2026: Hotel Room Blocks Open
  • Dec. 15, 2026: Early-Bird Registration Deadline
  • Jan. 4, 2027: Registration Deadline
  • Jan. 19, 2027: Pre-Convention Workshops
  • Jan. 20-22, 2027: State Education Convention

  • Wi-Fi: The public Wi-Fi network is called “WCD-WiFi.”
  • Parking: While the Baird Center offers public parking at the Kilbourn Avenue Entrance (501 W. Kilbourn Ave.) and the Wells St. Entrance (500 W. Wells St.), space is limited. There are several parking structures within a short walking distance. Additional public parking ramps are available throughout downtown, from street spots to nearby garages, including:
    • 330 W Wells St. Garage
    • 6th & State Lot (entrance located on 6th St. and James Lovell St.)
    • Isaac’s Garage (Hyatt)
    • MATC Surface Lot
    • Hilton City Center Garage
