Antique Building Solutions is an Amish-owned custom reclaimed mill shop in the heart of central Pennsylvania, surrounded by the country's highest concentration of historic hand-hewn timber-frame barns. For more than 25 years, we have been devoted to the art of dismantling and reclaiming historical wood, driven by a profound respect for early craftsmanship and providing a second life to often centuries-old wood. As a start-to-finish custom reclaimed mill shop, we are supported by a small but highly knowledgeable and extremely dedicated sales and management team and an in-house milling force of over 30 skilled craftsmen, ensuring the highest quality of every project. Our materials include Historic beams - hewn, sawn, or resawn; Box Beams - custom-built and authentic reclaimed; Beams - solid hewn and sawn; Timber frames - historic, disassembled, and tagged; Siding - barn wood weathered to rustic perfection; Ceiling cladding - individually sorted and sanded to enhance their natural patina; Flooring - solid and engineered for durability and beauty unique to old-growth wood; Stair treads and parts customized to match floor type and color; Moulding and trim in various colors and styles to meet any need.   Deeply rooted in American heritage, our reclaimed white oak floating treads are salvaged from 19th-century barns to bring history home. Available in 2" to 4" thicknesses—as solid timber or dual-piece glue-ups—each tread showcases centuries of slow-growth grain and storied patina. Can come nude or prefinished.
