• DWV Metraloop (Sep 14, 2022)

  The DWV Metraloop is a one-of-a-kind product that that is IAPMO listed for Drain Waste and Vent applications.  The listing is very important if your project falls under the jurisdiction of the plumbing codes.  Paragraph 301.2 of the Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC) requires that all components in a plumbing system to be a listed product. A plumbing inspector could require removal of any product that is not listed.

  The DWV Metraloop is available in either flanged ends or no hub end connections.  All DWV Metraloops are supplied in two halves joints with a floating flange that allows for each leg of the loop to be independently pitched.

  Like all the products in the Metraloop family of products, the  DWV Metraloop does not develop thrust loads.

• UPC Listed Copper Metraloop (Sep 14, 2022)

  Paragraph 301.2 of the Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC) requires that all components in a plumbing system to be a listed product. A plumbing inspector could require removal of any product that is not listed.

  Like all the products in the Metraloop family of products, the UPC Listed Metraloop does not develop thrust loads and this results in almost eliminating the need for guides, simplifying anchor design when compared to in line bellows expansion joints. When you place a Metraloop in your line, you instantly reduce the stresses in the line.

  If your press-fit system requires an expansion joint, you need a press-fit Metraloop joint. Just like all products in the Metraloop family, the UPC listed Metraloop expansion joints will compensate for thermal expansion and contraction without creating thrust loads.  Our experience has shown that the hydrostatic end loads developed by in line bellows products  can damage your press-fit fittings.
