JRM, Inc., based outside of Winston-Salem, NC, specializes in Greensmower, Tees and Fairway DURANIUM-801® bedknives and aerification tines. In 1992, JRM was born in the garage of James R. Merritt. In 1997, Merritt introduced the DILLENNIUM® (carbide) tip to the industry allowing customers to complete an entire aerification with one set of tines.
JRM utilizes that innovation and attention to quality through all of its product lines. DURANIUM-801® bedknives are the most durable bedknife on the market and designed to cut paper and hold an edge longer and grind less.
The JRM INFINITY® line of tines are the longest lasting tine in the market. INFINITY® tines are made with a trademarked non-standard steel that can be heat treated much harder without getting brittle.
The JRM INFINITY® Emperor tines feature a smaller ID and OD designed to remove the top layer of thatch and improve water filtration on greens. The INFINITY® design makes it extremely durable with customers getting 36 up to 48 holes with one set of tines. Newly added is an Imperial (patent pending) tip to our Emperor Tine™ line along with other Outside Diameter Quad and Coring tine options. This specially designed tip is pulling more material and leaving a cleaner hole in all varieties of turf and soil conditions.
JRM’s latest product offering is the INFINITY® Duranium-24 Reels. We currently have 17 reels for the most popular Toro®, Jacobsen® and John Deere® mowers. The newest reel is a 15-blade Jacobsen® Greensmower reel. Bearing kits are now available. Five Toro reels (5RTG112100, 5RTG142100, 5RTF085210, 5RTF085510, 5RTF115610) will come with bearings already installed on the shaft. All other reels will have bearing kits that can be purchased separately.
New for 2023, JRM has designed a ¾” x 4-hole mounting block (1B750101) for the Toro Procore 648. This block complements the 3/8” x 10-hole block (1B375102) already in the JRM product line.
JRM offers several other products, including Foliar Fertility, Oregon Mower Blades, GOLFCO International Competition Rollers, Reel Sharp Lapping Compound and Vulcan Grinding Wheels.

New for 2023, JRM is offering a line of Imperial Tip (Patent Pending) quad and coring tines. This specially designed tip is pulling more material and leaving a cleaner hole in all varieties of turf and soil conditions.
The Imperial Tip (Patent Pending) INFINITY® DILLENNIUM® Emperor Tine™ (1S202580) is already out in the field and performing above expectations. Courses are getting an average of 36 to 48 holes aerified with one set of these tines. This tine has a .250” Inside Diameter and a .385” Outside Diameter and is designed to remove the top layer of thatch and improve water filtration on golf course greens. The small cores produced by this tine can easily be blown off with a backpack blower for quick playability.
Ready in March 2023: The 1QT256583 is an Imperial Tip (Patent Pending) INFINITY® DILLENNIUM® standard quad. The tine features a .250” I.D. and a .385” O.D.
Imperial Tips (Patent Pending): JRM has 5 Imperial Tip (Patent Pending) Magnum Quad and conventional coring tines already in stock. The tines have a .400” I.D. and a .580” O.D. The 1TS506501 and 1DS506501 have a ¾” mount and the 1QT506501, 1QT506503 and the 1QT506583 are 3/8” mount tines.
Terms to know: INFINITY® is JRM’s trademarked steel that can be heat treated harder without getting brittle. DILLENNIUM® is JRM’s unique composition carbide tip built to last longer than OEM carbide tips. Imperial Tip (Patent Pending) is a specially designed tip that can remove more material and leave a cleaner hole during the aerification process.
