NTMir is a nonprofit 501(c) (3) patient advocacy organization for people with nontuberculous mycobacterial (NTM) lung disease and bronchiectasis. While these diseases are not widely recognized or properly diagnosed, their prevalence grows by 8% annually across many parts of the world. Our mission is to empower patients with support networks and education so they can better advocate for themselves, educate healthcare professionals, and accelerate research into new therapies for them. We bring together patients, researchers, clinicians, government agencies, and pharmaceutical partners to foster collaboration and drive meaningful progress in this field.
