Rhopoint Americas is the dedicated Rhopoint group company serving coatings customers across North, Central and South America, with a strong focus on appearance‑critical applications. Headquartered in Troy, Michigan, we supply and support Rhopoint Instruments’ portfolio of gloss, haze, DOI/orange peel, texture, shade/opacity, MFFT and advanced appearance systems such as Aesthetix and TAMS, combining local stock with factory‑authorised service, calibration and technical training.
For ACS 2026, we are showcasing how these instruments help formulators, OEMs and finishers translate subjective visual expectations into objective, repeatable data that can be used from R&D through production and final QC. By quantifying gloss level, surface waviness, micro‑texture, film formation and effect finishes, our solutions enable tighter appearance specifications, reduced rework and consistent finish quality across colours, batches and lines in automotive, industrial, powder, wood and coil coatings.
