Comprehensive Care Sustainability Collaborative (CCSC)
The National Bleeding Disorders Foundation (NBDF), formerly the National Hemophilia Foundation, is dedicated to finding better treatments and cures for inheritable bleeding disorders through education, advocacy, and research. The Comprehensive Care Sustainability Collaborative (CCSC) is a quality improvement and cost management initiative to advance the collaboration between payers and providers to provide high quality hemophilia care to patients that is both cost effective and reimbursable. Initial findings and recommendations from the CCSC are reported in a white paper available at www.CCSCHemo.com. Benefits for health plans to participate in CCSC include: Access to extensive outcomes data from network HTCs Increased connectivity with HTC directors and other plan managers seeking more rigorous standards in the care quality and cost containment for hemophilia National recognition for a commitment to quality improvement in hemophilia management
