American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics (ABMGG)
The American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics (ABMGG) is the nationally recognized certifying board for clinical geneticists and genomicists. ABMGG certifies MDs (and equivalent) and PhDs who have completed an ACGME-accredited residency or laboratory fellowship. Certification is offered for qualified individuals in the primary medical specialties of clinical genetics and genomics, clinical biochemical genetics, and laboratory genetics and genomics; medical biochemical genetics is offered as a subspecialty.
