PetaGene's software is trusted by many public and private organizations to transparently compress and/or encrypt their genomic data - so far totalling almost 5 million genomes reducing their storage footprint by more than 70% (~3.5x average lossless compression ratio) and in some cases more than 90% (10x lossless compression ratio). The compressed and encrypted data can be used directly with the users’ unmodified tools, pipelines and workflows, via PetaGene’s free readback library.
Quite separately, PetaGene this year launched a new product cunoFS for ultra-fast POSIX-compliant access to data in object storage (e.g. s3), whether on-prem or cloud, which gives >50 Gbps read/write access directly to native objects as if they were part of your file system.
