Wind professionals gathered recently in Potsdam, Germany, to listen to some of the industry’s best expertise speak at “Profi[t] am Wind IX”. This year’s forum, part of the 28th Wind Energy Days Conference, featured a selection of notable speakers from 10 diverse wind energy organizations. Austria’s wind automation solution providers, Bachmann electronic, hosted the forum, discussing ways of increasing productivity through cross-industry collaboration and partnerships.
“The Wind Energy Days in Potsdam are really starting to feel like a ‘family meeting’ for the German wind industry – all the major players are there,” says Gabriel Schwanzer, Director of Wind Power at Bachmann, “Whether it’s the technical and political challenges, financing, or ecology, the most critical discussions in wind usually take place in the forums. This was the sixth time Bachmann hosted the ‚Profi[t] am Wind‘ forum, and due to the well selected presentations regarding the current situation in the German wind business we almost ran out of space!”

The forum was moderated by Professor Jochen Twele from the University of Applied Sciences in Berlin.
