Testing fiber is a reliable way to ensure that it has been properly installed. This masterclas will review the applicable standards for field testing of fiber and answer common questions about Tier I and II testing, visual inspection, and the latest application requirements. Some of the common questions we will address are; 'What fiber tests should I specify?'  'Are these test results valid?' 'Was the testing done the right way?' 'Do I need Tier II testing?' and 'Do I need to use a launch fiber?' The second half of the presentation will be a small group excercise with the test equipment.
