In an era defined by a transition from traditional to smart building design and the implementation of more sustainable features, PoE and FMP will be used for various applications. The number of applications using PoE is increasing and applies to new types of end points. While ICT departments will not run and control these applications, they will be included in the implementation process and the maintenance of the systems. They will have to decide the right components of the network topology to select and how to maintain them. The network topology and its components are critical in smart building. All the other divisions will have a correlation with Division 27. In PoE and FMP, each component is critical and will have its own requirements to be used efficiently with the other parts of the network topology. This enlightening masterclass offers a comprehensive exploration by an expert for each component to help guide ICT departments in making these choices.
