Lyncole, where Grounding Bonds With Science®

Lyncole is a grounding and electrical protection company. We manufacture the Lyncole XIT® Grounding Systems that are warranted for 30 years and provide a high performance, stable grounding solution. The systems are utilized by telecom, government and aerospace industries to protect their sensitive equipment. The XIT system is the industry standard that others try to emulate. Our Engineers provide ground system designs, testing, ground potential rise (GPR) studies and complete electrical protection / grounding surveys. Our surveys include a thorough review of the electrical protection systems within a facility including bonding, surge suppression (AC, RF and dataline), lightning protection and earth grounding. We provide a detailed report with photographs and recommended corrections including grounding design (if necessary). We have performed grounding and lightning protection designs and installations across the country. Our projects range from munition storage facilities to portable systems for professional sports broadcasting locations. Our engineers teach a two day grounding and electrical protection class. The classes are presented across the county in major metropolitan areas and are also available to private companies and organizations. Continuing Education Units are available. We distribute for both Megger and AEMC ground test instruments. We are truly a one-stop shop for electrical protection.

  • Lynconite II Backfill Material
    Improves ground system performance....

  • Lynconite II is used as a backfill to surround the XIT systems during installation. It is based on natural clay formed by volcanic action. Specially processed to be very electrically conductive, Lynconite II enhances the performance of the grounding system. It is mixed with water (14gals./bag) until a slurry is formed (similar to pancake batter) then pumped or poured around the electrode in the hole.

    Benefits include:

    • Highly conductive
    • Improves ground system performance
    • Protects the copper-based XIT Rod
    • Establishes an electrical bond between the XIT Rod and Earth
    • Approved by The National Sanitation Foundation

  • XIT Straight Shaft
The first and original patented electrolytic grounding system....

  • The continuously advancing telecommunications, data center, computer, and electronics industries require the most advanced systems available. Ahead of its time, the UL-listed, self-moisturizing and maintenance-free XIT Grounding System provides low resistance in diverse climates around the world, without harmful effects on the environment. This system features:

    Standard Models:

    • K2-10CS: 10′ Straight Shaft model
    • K2-20CS: 20′ Straight Shaft model
