Profile

TJ Pate is currently a Communication Technician at Florida Power & Light. In 2008, he started his career in the ICT industry as a field technician. He earned his INSTC certification in 2010 which was the beginning of his BICSI credentialing path. In 2017, he achieved the INSTF Certification and in 2020 the TECH certification to his growing list of accomplishments. As a Technician, he also won the BICSI Cabling Skills Challenge in 2020 and 2023. TJ has a vast knowledge of ICT systems, which includes fiber backbone, structured cabling, audio visual, and security systems. He also volunteers with BICSI as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and serves as Secretary for the RCSC committee.
