Peter Desmarais brings more than 30 years of experience in the information and communications technology (ICT) industry, with deep expertise in test and measurement of IT infrastructure and high performance networks. He currently serves as a Solutions Engineer at VIAVI Solutions, where he specializes in fiber optic and Ethernet testing technologies. Peter’s work is heavily focused on Tier 1 and Tier 2 testing methodologies supporting hyperscale data center environments, helping designers, installers, and operators ensure performance, reliability, and standards compliance at scale.
