The vegan, cruelty-free, nature-inspired products make their market debut with an affordable CBD-infused collection for all hair types.
MCLEAN, VA., April 8, 2022 – Hair Cuttery Family of Brands proudly relaunches its cibu® line of professional hair care products, featuring its moisturizing CBD-infused formulas and all-new Curl + Coil collection.
The high-performance products, composed of natural ingredients—like aloe, jojoba and argan oils—now come in modern packaging embellished with botanical designs to highlight the clean, natural ingredients within. cibu products are paraben-free, sulfate-free, color-safe, and not tested on animals.
Originally launched in 2005, the cibu line was formulated by Stylists to meet their Guests’ diverse hair care needs. Years later, Stylists remain critical to cibu’s development and design by weighing in on packaging concepts and providing product inspiration based on Guest feedback.

CBD has moisturizing properties that can help treat dry and lifeless hair. It is used as a natural hair remedy for dull and fading color, breakage, and scalp irritation. CBD has also been found to reduce inflammation in the area near hair follicles, encouraging hair growth as well as maintaining hair health.

The cibu product line is sold direct-to-consumer on haircuttery.com, in Hair Cuttery and Bubbles Salons, and on Amazon. Redesigned cibu products are already available in select salons. All rebranded lines, including Curl + Coil and Everyday Balance, will be available in all salons and online by April 2022. cibu is slated to go live on mycibu.com, a new website that will offer cibu products direct-to-customer, in Summer 2022.
