  • The Scorpion for Chemistry

Its speed and versatility make it the ideal choice for synthetic chemists to automate High-Throughput Experimentation.

With the Scorpion, a synthetic chemist will see a 10-fold increase or more in throughput. The unique lightweight and durable delta arm design allows for an open work space. The high-speed arm movements increase throughput and facilitate the transfer of solvents without dripping. An enclosed work space can create an inert environment. The open design of the work space and powerful software allow the system to be configured for virtually any type of lab ware: dram tubes, glass vials, deep well blocks, and many others.

    Applications

The Scorpion can be utilized in many different workflows. Typical applications:

    • High-Throughput Experimentation
    • Catalysis
    • Reaction optimization
    • Easy to learn software
    • Reaction miniaturization to screen conditions
    • Long-term scheduled reaction sampling
    • High-throughput screening of ligands or substrates
  • Phoenix Solvent Dispenser
The Phoenix is the ideal dispensing system for working with organic solvents. The reagents contact the syringe head and are only exposed to glass, stainless steel and a fluoropolymer making the head compatible with all the commonly used solvents....

  • The Phoenix, a workhorse dispenser in chemical research labs, is used in the following areas:

    • Biofuel research
    • Bacterial metabolic engineering
    • Biocatalyst development
    • Enzyme optimization

The deck of the Phoenix has 6 plate positions and 3 wash positions. The 1mL syringes can access deep well blocks and tube racks. The all metal construction features hard anodized decks.

Easy to use drag and drop software makes it quick to develop new protocols or modify existing ones.

The Phoenix is also available or can be updated at any time with 1, 2, 3 or 4 non-contact dispensers.
