Bettersize provides instruments to analyze particle size, shape, charge, and density as well as powder characteristics such as bulk density. With over 15,000 devices in use and more than 70 patents, Bettersize is Asia's leader in the field. Our devices utilize a variety of methods to analyze particles such as laser diffraction, dynamic light scattering, and static and dynamic image analysis. For really small particles we use dynamic light scattering. To analyze bigger particles, we utilize laser diffraction, static, and dynamic image analysis. One of our most popular devices, the Bettersizer S3 Plus incorporates both laser diffraction and dynamic image analysis simultaneously. Bettersize offers two static image analyzers, the manually operated BeVision S1, and the automated BeVision M1. If you are looking for even more automation and have a need to measure flowing powders, we offer the BeVision D2. Bettersize measures particle Charge using Phase Analysis Light Scattering (PALS) which works well with biological materials dispersed in high salt liquids as well as conventional particle suspensions. Bettersize's BetterPyc 380-FS uses gas pycnometry to measure particle density, volume, open cell content and solid content of suspensions.
