We are third generation coffee farms with a passion for coffee quality, nature, and our employees. Our coffees are grown in the best producing area of Brazil; Sul de Minas where the climate and terroir are ideal for specialty coffee.
In order to assure that we can produce the best possible cup of coffee we work with agronomist to ensure that each plot of land is planted with the best suited variety for that plot. Each of our varieties have unique cupping characteristics and are separated into micro lots without being blended. Our quest for cup quality dictates how we harvest our coffees at the peak of maturity. After harvesting we further separate our lots into natural and semi-washed processes where the beans are sundried. After resting we mill and grade our coffees using the most up to date technologies. Finally, we package our coffees in the newest bags developed by and tested by the University of Lavaras in Brazil as the best method for preserving the green coffees.
Because we believe in quality we export to the US and roast locally in Florida our coffees. Our direct trade model is unique in which we take care of every step of the process from farm to roasted coffee. As a client you will be assured that the coffee comes directly to Florida from the farm, and is roasted on demand, so we can guarantee its freshness and cup quality.
The farm is UTZ/Rainforest Alliance Certified. In the last two years our farm has passed inspection certification without any re-adjustments and re-inspections. The high standards of the certification verify that we are protecting nature and taking care of our employees so that future generations will continue to live in harmony with nature.
