Exchange Schedule

The Exchange features nearly 40 hours of education and over hundreds of exhibitors in the Expo Hall. To search for specific events or session types, please utilize the advanced search option by clicking on the Advanced Search tab with a search-glass image below. Build a personal conference schedule by utilizing the My Sessions tab located to the right of the Advanced Search tab. To view a full summary of scheduled events, utilize the dropdown box that reads summary view and select full view. Also available in the upper right hand corner of the schedule is the ability to export and print information. To view daily schedules, select the conference dates highlighted below in red text.

Name Badges

GEAPS Exchange badges have a color-coded stripe to assist attendees in identifying an individual’s affiliation:

Green: individuals directly engaged in grain handling, feed, milling and processing industry operations.

Red: individuals representing businesses or organizations that supply equipment, products or services to the grain handling, feed, milling and processing industries.

Orange: individuals who represent a governmental body or academic institution.

Blue: companions of registered Exchange attendees, usually a spouse or significant other.

Food/Social Event Tickets

Tickets are required for admittance to many of the social and meal functions. You can purchase tickets at the Registration Center. Tickets are not exchangeable or refundable.

For entry into the Expo, educational sessions and other non-ticket events, you must wear your name badge. If you purchased a one-day registration, you are entitled to enter events for that day only.

The suggested attire for all conference functions is business casual. Ties, suits and other business attire are also appropriate, but not necessary.

The exception is the President’s Reception & Banquet Tuesday night, which is more formal (not black tie).

Need something to drink? Or a quick snack? For most of your needs, Exchange events will take care of you. Numerous refreshment breaks will be available throughout the conference.

You’ll also get lunch in the Expo Hall on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday compliments of sponsoring companies.

To purchase refreshments, a coffee cart inside the Expo Hall will also be open during all Expo Hours.

Exhibitor Prize Drawings

As you meet with exhibitors throughout the conference, you will have several opportunities to enter your name into prize drawings at booths.

Winners of exhibitor-sponsored prize drawings are announced from 1:30-1:45 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon. Listen for your name to see if you won a prize!

The GEAPS Booth is located just inside the main entrance to the Expo Hall. Stop by and learn more about GEAPS, or just say hello. 

Learn all about GEAPS'  networking opportunities at Exchange or chapter events, participating in educational programs or volunteering on a committee. You can also learn more about GEAPS’ Distance Education Program, where future Exchange sites will be and what’s planned for the GEAPS 2018 summer workshop.

Exchange Policies

Hospitality Events

Social events are an important and desired part of the Exchange experience. The GEAPS Board of Directors invites and encourages companies and individuals to take full advantage of the hospitality and networking opportunities the Exchange provides.

All Exchange attendees may hold private meetings consisting of company employees that are meant for internal business. Only exhibiting companies are invited and welcomed by GEAPS to produce and promote hospitality events in conjunction with the Exchange. Sponsoring companies with a giving equivalent to a booth space are invited and welcomed by GEAPS to produce, but not promote, hospitality events in conjunction with the Exchange. Hospitality events are defined as those where the invitees include established customers or prospective customers. Such events must not conflict with any published Exchange programming and as such can be held pre-Exchange, post-Exchange or after hours during show dates.

By registering for and attending this event, you agree that your image and voice recording may be used at any time, without further notification, for printed materials, web sites, social media, live-streaming, webcasts, and other marketing and educational purposes.

No Suitcasing

Any non-exhibitor observed to be soliciting business from any other non-exhibitor, in the Expo Hall or any other public space or facility under GEAPS’ Exchange show management, will be asked to leave the facility or space immediately. Additional penalties may also be applied. Please report any violations observed to Show Management.
