  • Ambulance Patient Off-Load Time Enhances Continuum®

LAKEVILLE, MINN. [June 21, 2018] - ImageTrend, Inc. announced that Continuum® now offers Active Data Monitoring™ for ambulance patient off-load times (APOT). This provides organizations with targeted dashboards and alerts, which can assist in determining efficiencies related to hospital turn-around time.

Resource availability is vital for the EMS community. Monitoring APOT is an integral factor that can drive overall organizational efficiency, improve patient satisfaction, and free up crews for their next patient. Continuum has the ability to discover outliers, such as extended off-load times, which allows agencies to address factors affecting delays.

“Monitoring ambulance patient off-load times is about maximizing resource availability to better serve the community,” says Morgan Anderson, Epidemiologist at ImageTrend, Inc. “APOT can be effortlessly monitored with Continuum to provide insight into operational efficiencies that can impact patient care.”

With Continuum’s near real-time visual dashboards and alerts, organizations can get their data when and how they want it. Pre-defined or modifiable dashboards and monitors allow for information that can provide opportunities such as informed decision making, improved patient care and agency efficiency. This Active Data Monitoring solution gives a visual report card for how their agency is doing at any given moment. To learn more about ImageTrend Continuum, visit www.ImageTrend.com/Continuum

LAKEVILLE, MINN. [June 7, 2018] - ImageTrend, Inc. is honored to announce that CrewCare, the company’s groundbreaking new free mobile app focused on mental health awareness, has been selected as a JEMS Hot Product at EMS Today 2018. CrewCare was developed out of the growing need for greater awareness concerning mental health in the first responder industry.

CrewCare was selected by a panel of EMS Today judges who reviewed other industry-influencing products at the expo, held in Charlotte, NC earlier this year. CrewCare and the other winners selected as a Hot Product appear in the June issue of JEMS.

“We are very proud that CrewCare has been recognized as a Hot Product at EMS Today, as mental health awareness is such an important topic. We hear stories daily of the need for more first responder resiliency education and tools like CrewCare. At ImageTrend, we are committed to supporting the needs of the industry through all of our products and solutions”, said Joe Graw, COO of ImageTrend.

The first responder industry routinely faces factors that play a role in mental health. Issues such as anxiety, burnout, depression, PTSD and suicide are all too common among the EMS community. The goal of the app is to provide knowledge and insight about these stressors and their associated factors. CrewCare allows for the collection of aggregated, non-identifiable data that can be used for identifying crew stress, making organizational improvements and contribute to industry-wide research.

The app’s users anonymously track information about stress in their life, engagement, mood and other associated activities. Using the app, participants will instantly receive results in charts and graphs that give them an overall view of their own stress over time, including how they compare to others within their industry. The mobile app, which is available from the Apple App Store and Google Play, also offers links to relevant topical resources to help manage stress, mental health support or crisis contacts.

While CrewCare is available to all first responders, the app is also able to assist organizations, associations and states looking for insight into a collective view of their crews’ aggregate and anonymous information that can allow for further strides in improving mental health.

  • ImageTrend Expands Open Platform Data Sharing

LAKEVILLE, MINN. [October 2, 2017] - ImageTrend, Inc. announced the expansion of its Open Platform data sharing through ImageTrend Health Information Hub™ (HIH™). This industry-leading expansion enables EMS agencies to interchange data and transfer ePCR incidents with agencies using any NEMSIS version 3 certified system, breaking down the software-specific barriers that previously prevented local and regional partners from sharing encounter data.

"The ability to obtain and transfer patient health data between agencies – regardless of which vendor they document their ePCRs in – is ground breaking," commented Mike McBrady, President and CEO of ImageTrend, Inc. "This information is powerful to help improve and impact care given in the field. We are thrilled to be offering this to all EMS agencies, regions and states, no matter who their data collection vendor is."

Innovation and configurability isn’t new to ImageTrend; it’s a part of their culture. "The flexibility of the ImageTrend Elite™ and HIH platforms has proven exceptional in how our clients can collect and use their data. Features such as repeat patient, patient lookup in the field and reporting have benefited ImageTrend clients for years. Now, with all providers given the opportunity to participate in our Open Platform through HIH and share patient data among agencies and regions, the health data network grows stronger," said Michael Patock, Vice President of Health Data Services.

ImageTrend’s Open Platform data sharing expands upon existing HIH functionality, which provides bidirectional, automatic exchange of data to connect ImageTrend’s Elite software with hospitals, billing, registries and HIEs. HIH shares EMS, fire and outcome data through a variety of national data standards including HL7, NFIRS and NTDB.

Understanding health data at the patient’s side is vital for a complete picture of care both during and beyond the point of emergency. The Open Platform data sharing through HIH is using data to its fullest for the benefit of the patient.
