Wet wood is perhaps one of the biggest issues with homeowners not burning efficiently with their EPA-certified wood stoves causing retailers extra calls and complaints about the stove not working correctly and causing neighbors to contact EPA. EPA has a variety of free educational tools (videos, flyers, brochures) for use by industry. The tools were in fact developed with help from the hearth industry.
