    Chocotech will display their Carastar® 300 and a Mixing System.

    Chocotech will exhibit the Carastar® 300 which is a universal batch cooker designed for cooking all types of masses such as caramel, binders, jelly, filling, sugar solutions, etc.

    The Carastar® is available in a number of different sizes and comes with options such as: load cells for automatic ingredient feeding into cooker if there is no batch weigher available, vacuum installation, high shear mixer for homogenization and lump free dispersion of the mass, CIP booster pump and dairy valving to allow an inline washing of the system. Unit also includes 360° spray balls. The Carastar is designed for cooking atmospherically, under pressure, under vacuum, post-vacuuming or cooling.

    Chocotech will also display a unique Mixing System. The system consists of a first mixing tank for manual feeding of raw ingredients through a feed opening and has a support for ripping and tipping of sacks. The tank has stainless steel design 316 for all parts in contact with product or water. This tank holds 100 l, is jacketed for warm water heating and has a high sheer agitator type Ystral. The Mixing System also has a Buff er tank that holds 150 l of product and has an anchor-type agitator. The unit is suspended in a hygienic strong stainless-steel tubular frame with best clearance to the floor for easy and quick cleaning. Static spray balls throughout the system are used for cleaning the equipment in place.

    Sollich’s Thermo-Flow 1050 KK cooling tunnel with PU-Covers in Gullwing design will certainly catch your attention. The tunnel is designed for full wash down capabilities from the product zone down, while still have the light weight, excellent insulating PU covers. The tunnel’s frame and base are made of stainless steel (and other non-rusting materials) while the covers are PU which is a light-weight, durable composite material. The tunnel is designed to give operators easy access into the tunnel from all sides and the ability to inspect all areas.     Dumoulin manufactures a complete range of automatic high capacity panning systems in batch sizes up to 6,600 lbs. One important advantage of a Dumoulin machine is their innovative design resulting in the smallest bed depth of any similar unit. This in turn means that all Dumoulin drums are gentle on delicate centers. Shallow bed depth also increases the amount of surface area in contact with freshly conditioned air. This reduces the processing time that allows the coating to be distributed very quickly and evenly over all centers. Dumoulin pans are fully CIPable and come with a retractable spray arm which makes inspections easier.

    Although not exhibiting equipment Dumoulin will be represented and literature will be available.

  • The SOLLICH Conbar® line is the unrivalled market leader in cereal bar manufacturing thanks to its enormous flexibility. Single-layer and multi-layer products with an additional layer of a milk or yoghurt creme, caramel, fruit mass or filling can be produced to the highest quality standards.

    As well as products cut into rectangles, stamped bars with a variety of different cross-sections can be produced.

    Conbar® roller formers allow:

    • direct feed from the cooking plant or the mixer without the need for interim cooling
    • cooling and moulding in a single machine
    • gentle moulding without pressure, without changing the weight or structure of the mass
    • easy changeover between products or changes to the product mass

    Conbar® slab former options

    For the production of cereal bars the following Conbar® slab formers are available:

    • Conbar® roller former Type WEB for pre-forming the first layer of cereal, located in front of the infeed table
    • Conbar® pressure roller for calibrating the pre-formed cereal slab to the required thickness and width, positioned above the infeed table
    • Conbar® profiling roller for profiling the calibrated slab into semi-circular or differently shaped cross-sections
    • Conbar® roller former Type WET for forming a thin, usually second, 2-5 mm layer of caramel, fudge or agar jelly on top of the cereal slab.

    Conbar® bar manufacturing lines may be extended with mixers, cooling tunnels, cutting plants and chocolate refining equipment. The relevant cooking equipment is available in the range of products supplied by our subsidiary company CHOCOTECH.

  • Micron® is a continuous system for the manufacture of fondant masses. The unit is designed as a two step system. The fist step is to super-saturate the cooked mass in a tempering screw followed by a partical size controlled beating screw which allows for different micron sizes depending on the set parameters of unit. A fine very fondant is achievable which can be used with different colors and flavors for fillings.  The units are designed for capacities ranging from from 300 - 1500 kg/h, depending on recipe. 

    The outstanding feature of the fondant quality is its particle size distribution. The Micron® is capable of providing a fondant of which 99 % of the crystals are smaller than 20 µ. This is the reason for the fondant quality being second to none in terms of fineness, homogeneity and creaminess. The machine can also be equipped with a tempering unit when it comes to re-heating the beaten fondant to the depositing temperature required.

    Of course we supply the respective mixing and cooling systems, too, in case the fondant is to be processed to center fillings for chocolate hollows or is to be run on one-shot machines.

SOLLICH’S Decormatic® range provides a wide selection of machines of different sizes tailored to the individual model of enrobing machine being used.

    Decormatic® DC4

    The Decormatic® DC4 is the most modern decoration system from SOLLICH. 40 years of experience combined with latest motive power engineering and electronic control have led to this powerful construction easy to handle. All data of a decoration pattern can be saved electronically and can be retrieved easily, whenever required. This means 100% reproduction of each decoration pattern is possible in a few minutes only.

    The movements of the nozzle tube can be adjusted infinitely during operation. Feeding nozzles via the separate Minitemper® Turbo permits diverse combinations between dark, white or milk chocolate.

    Decormatic® DC4 is a universal decoration system for pralinés, sweets, candy bars, biscuits, wafers, cakes, icecream etc. The variety of dash, zigzag, circular or double loop movements is nearly unlimited.  The Decormatic® DC4 is available for working widths from 820 mm to 1600 mm.

    Decormatic® DC5 

    The Decormatic® DC5 is a mechanical decorating machine for various decorative functions. The patterns are programmed manually via eccentric drives, and all the settings are easily reproducible. Outstanding features of the DC5 include the easily exchangeable nozzle tubes and automatic nozzle cleaning using needles. The nozzle tubes are fed from a separate Minitemper® Turbo via heated supply and return pipes. The Decormatic® DC5  is available for all machine widths from 520 to 1300 mm.

    The Sucrofilm® is a thin film cooker designed for cooking masses which contain proteins or heat sensitive masses like real fruit pastes....

  • The Sucrofilm® is a thin film cooker designed for cooking masses which contain proteins or heat sensitive masses like real fruit pastes. The product residence time in the cooker is very short and the system is designed for atmospherical, pressure, vacuum or post vacuum cooking. The inner stainless steel rotor has a series of hygienic static scrapers around the circumference made of PEEK which have a very long life due to the very precise balance of the rotor. The cooker is designed with a direct drive and  variable speed motor in order to increase flexibility. The Sucrofilm® is suited for long continuous production runs with full CIP capabilities. Available in sizes of 500 and 2,500 kg/h, capacity can be increased with a proper pre-dissolver.

  • The Caramat® caramel coating machine was specially developed to coat pastries, wafers and specific confectionery fillings, such as fudge, with caramel. A patented process ensures that the viscosity of the caramel remains constant and guarantees uninterrupted operation over long periods.

    Functional characteristics

    The Caramat® is characterised by its hygienic construction. It is made entirely from stainless materials and is suitable for wet cleaning. It is heated by means of steam and incorporates automatic temperature controls.

    A wire mesh infeed table which can be lifted up permits optimum access to the outside coating pump and the input side of the machine, making cleaning and maintenance easier.

    Standard Caramat® with SSB sprinkler

    The caramel coater Caramat® was specifically developed to enrobe cakes, pastries and certain sweet centers such as fudge, with caramel. Following the Caramat® the SSB sprinkling system can sprinkle top and vertical sides of the product.

    Special Caramat® with all-round sprinkling system ABS

    For all-round product sprinkling the Caramat® can be equipped with a special discharge to the following ABS sprinkling system by means of which the product can be sprinkled on all 6 sides. Chopped nuts, small cereals like rice and crispies or similar ingredients are suitable to be used as sprinkling material.

    Caramel enrobed biscuits and wafers belong to the most successful products in the world.

  • SOLLICH has a range of specially developed enrobing and drying lines for all traditional sugar glazes for full or half coating of pastries, cakes or fruit. The Fondamat® lines are available in machine widths from 620 to 1300 mm. Particularly noteworthy are our multi-colour glazing machines using 2 or 3 different colours simultaneously.

    Outstanding characteristics

    Drying Tunnel

    While compound coatings or fondant coatings are set by cooling in our Thermo-Flow® cooling tunnels, sugar glazes with their high water content need to undergo a drying process after enrobing.

    SOLLICH has developed hygienically designed high-performance “drying tunnels” for this purpose. The glazed products are conveyed on metal wire mesh belts through the multi-zoned drying tunnel and dried by means of hot air. The air may be heated electrically or with steam. If desired, electrical infra-red heating may also be installed. The drying temperature can be regulated. Humidity is automatically extracted from the drying air.

The heart of the unit is the Sucrotwist® pressure dissolver with its special design. The hygienically designed cooker with "no dead areas"  was especially developed for the production of jellies. The tube in shell heat exchanger provides a maximum heat exchange surface in a relatively small area- The Sucrotwist, vacuum chamber and the vacuum installation  are housed in a hygienic tubular frame.

  • The Tornado® is a continuous pressure beater used for the aeration of all type of confectionery, chocolate and bakery products. The heart of the machine is the aerating head consisting of the rotor and stator, which is EDM (Electrical Discharge Machined) finished. The unit consists of of a pre-aerator which starts aeration of the whipping agent solution (WAS) before this enters the main beating head. Some additional advantages as follows:
