Bakery Equipment Manufacturers and Allieds, (BEMA), was founded in 1918 as an international, not-for-profit trade association representing leading bakery and food suppliers. BEMA creates authentic connections that improve our members’ businesses and the baking industry. Our members utilize the value they gain through BEMA networking and educational events to provide their customers with the most effective, innovative solutions in baking. 

BEMA offers a variety of programming to our members and food producers in the industry.  BEMA-U provides customized, onsite training and education. The BEMA Intel Industry Summary report presents at-a-glance topline trends for key U.S. economic and commercial baking industry indicators. Updated quarterly, this overview provides a high-level view of the state of commercial baking and equipment manufacturing industries to aid in planning and critical decision making. BIF is a small group of bakers and suppliers who come together to discuss topics and issues facing the commercial baking industry.  The group provides the industry with a strong resource for ideas and expertise based on research and years of experience. BEMA's Convention is a yearly gathering of the entire baking industry that provides unmatched opportunties to network and collaborate. The Convention grows from year-to-year, both in size and industry influence. NEXUS, Powered by BEMA, is a newly announced event that will take place in September 2023 in Dallas, TX. It will be a "can't miss" experience for supplier teams and baker teams alike.  Each element is being thoughtfully designed to create maximum value for all attendees.
