Advanced Research Projects Agency – Energy (ARPA-E)

1000 Independence Ave SW
Washington,  DC
United States
  • Booth: A119

The “Delivering Efficient Local Thermal Amenities” (DELTA) program seeks to develop technologies that regulate the temperature and comfort of a building’s occupants rather than the entire occupied space. This enables buildings to operate in wider temperature ranges offering potential to dramatically reduce the energy consumption of the built space. Come meet ARPA-E at booth A119 to learn more about ARPA-E and to meet DELTA program teams exhibiting their next-generation textile innovations. The showcased projects will include a broad range of active and passive textiles approaches that respond to ambient temperature changes and improve wearer comfort to reduce the demand for energy intensive air-conditioning.

ARPA-E is an agency of the U.S. Department of Energy that advances high-potential, high-impact energy technologies with the ability to radically improve U.S. economic prosperity, national security, and environmental wellbeing. Visit arpa-e.energy.gov for more information.
